Just a question of time...

I learned that time is universal, a constant, immutable...

I discovered that's wrong.

Time is a Titan, a Titan who's projectig his shadow on us, on our lives like a nightmare on a screen...

Now I see...

Now I understand that time's fading everything in his way, movements, colors, life...
Now, I see the past, the futur which are framing my present and I watch my son's living, running inside It.

No need to discuss... That's just a question of time

For who knows where the time goes?

photo, Mexico by malyfred

what is this thing that we call time?
what is that?... were do's it go's...
a think you cannot touch and is it a live
is it the clock? the work by the clock, the life by the clock?

and one day, sometime in your life
you will have an occasion to say - what is this thing we call time?
and then you will look in to the mirror and you say — I'm old...
I have no fear of time... and you say - where is the time goes?
and you ask:
what is this thing that we call time?

Who knows where the time goes?

Across the purple sky, all the birds are leaving
But how can they know it's time for them to go?
Before the winter's fire, I will still be dreamin'
I have no thought of time

For who knows where the time goes?
Who knows where the time goes?

Sad, deserted shore, your fickle friends are leaving
Ah, but then you know it's time for them to go
But I will still be here, I have no thought of leaving
I do not count the time

For who knows where the time goes?
Who knows where the time goes?

And I am not alone while my love is near me
I know it will be so until it's time to go
So come the storms of winter and then the birds in spring again
I have no fear of time

For who knows how my love grows?
And who knows where the time goes?

Dear Mr. Steve Jobs,

Hello from Albert Hofmann. I understand from media accounts that you feel LSD helped you creatively in your development of Apple computers and your personal spiritual quest. I'm interested in learning more about how LSD was useful to you.

I'm writing now, shortly after my 101st birthday, to request that you support Swiss psychiatrist Dr. Peter Gasser's proposed study of LSD-assisted psychotherapy in subjects with anxiety associated with life-threatening illness. This will become the first LSD - assisted psychotherapy study in over 35 years.

I hope you will help in the transformation of my problem child into a wonder child.

Sincerely,

A. Hofmann
